The honest answer is that it depends.

Some homes move fast. Some do not. And it is not always just about the market.

A home that is well prepared, priced right, and easy to understand tends to get stronger attention early. A home that feels overpriced, cluttered, or underwhelming may sit longer, even if the location is solid.

That is why sellers should not think about timing as pure luck.

There is also more than one kind of timeline to think about. There is the prep time before the listing goes live. There is the time it takes to get an offer. Then there is the contract period before closing.
